Based in London, I have specialized in traditional ornamental woodcarving which includes furniture ornamental and figurative carving, interior decorative carving as well as restoration of old carvings.
I started to learn woodcarving in a traditional technical school in year 1995 at the age of fourteen. There I learned the basics of woodcarving techniques, ornamental and technical drawing, cabinet making, furniture restoration as well as carpentry.
After I graduated 1999, I started to work as a woodcarver in a well established woodcarving workshop in my town, where I continued to learn from the old experienced woodcarvers who worked there.
After year 2003 I started to work as a self-employed in Montenegro and Croatia where I have completed many woodcarving bespoke projects for local monasteries.
In year 2008 I moved to Scotland where I made many bespoke wood-carved projects for local museum house for 4 years.
At the moment I do mostly woodcarving classes in effort to keep old woodcarving traditions alive.
